Steven Pribramsky moved to the Florida Keys in early 2000. Prior to moving to the Florida Keys, Mr. Pribramsky was President and CEO of Primary Financial Management, Inc. Mr. Pribramsky has six children, five boys and a girl, and two granddaughters.
Mr. Pribramsky is considered by many as an accounting industry visionary as he moved his firm to a ”Cloud Based” operating platform in 2008. At the time few understood cloud-based operations, but Steven Pribramsky recognized it applicability as the way of the future for CPA firm operations. By utilizing the cloud -based operating platform, Pribramsky & Company, CPAs has been able to attract the highest quality of staff member while providing unmatched client service.
Mr. Pribramsky has built Pribramsky & Company, CPAs to one of the largest and most successful one owner CPA firms in America. While managing the day to day operations of the firm, Mr. Pribramsky also is working through social media sites to educate the public and future accounting students about the value of the profession as well as the unlimited opportunities that accountants and CPA’s have to help families, business and estates grow and prosper. Mr. Pribramsky brings his own unique style, personality and professionalism to this endeavor.
Steven Pribramsky brings extensive experience in auditing, accounting, tax and business consulting matters. Many consider Mr. Pribramsky one of South Florida’s leading business experts primarily in the industries that drive South Florida’s economy, those being tourism and real estate. Steven Pribramsky’s common sense advice coupled with a forward-thinking approach to business has benefitted his CPA firm as well as his client’s businesses to experience record growth year after year.
Mr. Pribramsky has been a contributor to business radio shows on NPR and for a number of years was the host of “The Key West Business World” which enjoyed the number 1 slot for Sunday business shows in all of the Florida Keys. Mr. Pribramsky has given talks and speeches all of the world on various business topic and he’s received critical acclaim for his ability to communicate state of the art business ideas and concepts in an understandable manner.
Coupled with his helpful business advice is a set of master negotiating skills that have aided his clients in consummating hundreds of millions of dollars of contracts for the purchase or sale of real estate, businesses and large fixed assets such as airplanes, yachts and other types of high dollar equipment and vehicles.
When he is not consulting with clients and advisors, Mr. Pribramsky spends most of his time overseeing the income tax preparation segment of the firm. Steven Pribramsky also heads up the firm's forensic accounting and auditing team. Finally, Mr. Pribramsky and his team have performed numerous business valuations for a variety of purposes including estate tax planning, corporate acquisitions and sales, as well as divorce and business separation plans.
Steven Pribramsky served on Monroe County School Board from 2006 to 2010 and served as Chairman of the School Board for the 2007/2008 school year. Prior to be elected to the Monroe County School Board, Mr. Pribramsky served six years on the Key West Montessori Charter School Board, holding the positions of President and Treasurer of the board several times. Mr. Pribramsky continues to volunteer his time with various community organization, primarily focused on children’s educational issues.
Mr. Pribramsky is a Certified Public Accountant and holds memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Mr. Pribramsky holds his master’s degree in Accounting from Stetson University as well as dual undergraduate degrees. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance both from Marquette University. Mr. Pribramsky serves on the executive research counsel for Accounting Today Journal.
